Have A Blessed Easter!

.

Well pleaseth me the sweet time of Easter That maketh the leaf and the flower come out.

Spring bursts to-day, For Christ is risen and all the earth's at play.

~~ Christina G. Rossetti, English Poet, 1830 - 1894

.

Now let the heavens be joyful,
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.

Happy Easter to all!

My very dear friends, kitty-cat Kika and her human Graçe, made this very cool Easter photo of me. And it is a good thing, too, because I did not get an Easter basket from my human, K {boo!}, so I would not have had an Easter photo if it were not for Kika and Graçe. Thank you Kika and Graçe! The picture is pawsome!

Back to me...

As I pawed earlier, I did not get an Easter basket {boo K!}, and I did not see any Easter bunnies {double boo!!}, but I did have a friend drop by earlier today.

Hey Mr. Bull! See any Easter bunnies hopping around?

Really? They are all hanging out over there?? Hey! Sivlius! I can't believe you just crashed my photo!

O.K., I will wait here why you go and get me some yummy Easter bunnies! Thanks, dude!

Well, I am still waiting for Mr. Bull to return with some Easter bunnies for me. My tummy is starting to growl. Of course, it would not be growling as loudly if K had gotten me an Easter basket full of yummy Easter treats. Grrrrrr......

I wanted to thank all of my amazing friends for their wonderful and kind Comments on my last post and especially for not forgetting about me. I have the best friends in all the blog-o-sphere! I was a bit upset with K for not letting me blog for so long, and I was deeply concerned that I would come back to blogging to find all of my friends gone. But, my heart was very happy to see that all my friends are still here and still remember me. I am a very lucky pup! Thank you for hanging around and keeping me in your thoughts. You are all the best! And if K had gotten me an Easter basket I would have happily shared my Easter treats with all of you! Can you tell I am a bit sore about not getting an Easter basket? No blogging in months, no Easter basket. What next? No leash? Please please please please please. I'm just sayin'...
