How Sweet It Is!

I am very honored to accept the above award which was bestowed upon me by my sweet pals the Cyber-sibes, Jack and Moo [a.k.a. Jack-a-roo and Moo too, and a.k.a. Jack of Hearts and True Blue Moo]. Jack and Moo are two beautiful fur-sibs who have such beaming personalities that you can’t help but be drawn into their fun, adventurous, and lovely world. Thank you Cyber-sibes! Now, onto my acceptance howl. Ahem…I am very humbled to once again be chosen as a recipient of a charming award. I have worked hard to make my blog something worthwhile for those who happen to sniff their way over, and I have spent many long hours pawing away at the keyboard to come up with the perfect post. All of my hard efforts would be pointless, however, if it weren’t for the love and support of my many fur-friends, human friends, and of course, my Pack. I am very grateful for having all of you in my life and…hey, there is that music again! I am not yet done! Grrr...I always get cut off by the orchestra. Being succinct is not yet one of my talents.

On another sweet note, it snowed today, on and off. Huge snowflakes that were so light and fluffy that the did not stay on the ground for very long. Not sure where they went off too. I guess to where the all the other snow ends up. Regardless, it was nice to sit and walk in the falling snow today. It would have been even better to be able to chew on a nice meaty bone in the falling snow. Alas, my deer blob has run its course and I am no longer interested in it. Since I am now chained all the time outside (thanks, K!) I can't go off and find a new meaty morsel on my own. So, I am hoping - paws crossed! - that Silvius finds something yummy and drags it home again for me to "find" and eat. I really need to expand my repertoire of food. If anyone wants to sponsor me to travel the World eating dog food from all around this Big Blue Marble, I am ready, willing, and able! As soon as I get my doggy passport. And I refuse to go through airport scanners. I protect my modesty and my DNA. I'm just sayin'...

Congrats on your much deserved award, my friend. You are a shining star in our blogging constellation! You look so handsome with snow gently scattered in your fur! By the way, I think when snow disappears it goes to Khyra's--just look at those photos; NOBODY gets that much white stuff naturally...she's like a snow magnet! I would love to show you the culinary diversity of New Mexico and show off the skills of my chef friends (lanb shanks, anyone?)...just get that transport organized and bring our friends from along the way...we love guests!

Today was homemade pizza K would have LOVED (whole wheat spinach), meaty bones, and a philosopical discussion you both would have had so much to add to. Really wish you could just teleport on Sundays for the post yoga gathering. Hope your weekend was great and that Silvius brought you something good from "beyond"

Well, my friend, we did a pretty spontaneous thing today...we adopted a baby Eskie brother for me. My thought is I will train HIM to train Michael and it will be a win-win-win situation for all of us! It is a surprise because we rescued a little guy on death row in CA and must wait until the weekend before we get to meet him (Michael has no clue).I always thought that I wanted to be an only child but when mom showed me the inmate picture of the dog, his haunted eyes got to me. I am pretty pampered and have lots enough to share...AND I know mom and dad love me totally and unconditionally...always will. So, our adventure takes yet another crazy turn. Isn't life grand?

Suka, congratulations on your well deserved award. You look beautiful in the snow. I hope more of it comes your way. I will keep my paws crossed that Silvius finds a nice deer blob for you. Your journey around the world eating delicious food sounds mighty fun to me. Let's go together.:)

Love,

Suka,
Thanks for your wonderful note and post to my blog. It feels nice to know that you will help me adjust to having a brother AND Michael in my life! I am excited but a little scared. We will meet him on Saturday. I hope he likes me. I hope I like him. I hope mom and dad don't love me less to make room for him. I still want to be the one sleeping on their bed!

The Rescue was a complete success and Quinn is almost to Kim's house. Tomorrow he will meet us for the gathering inPhoenix. I think he looks like a very good little brother and Kim says he is very gentle and kind. I hope he knows that I am still the boss of the house! We are all so excited here...and can't wait to sniff him in person.
