Suka, Interrupted

Ever heard of the human saying, “bad comes in threes?” Well, that is my human’s life right now. K is experiencing a trio of bad luck. And of course, what effects my human effects me. Which is why my presence in the blog-o-sphere was interrupted. I thought the bad luck started with the end of my Midnight Runs. But no, I guess my bad luck is separate from K’s bad luck. Which is good, because other than the end of my Midnight Runs and having to be chained all the time outside, I have not had any more bad luck. Paw on dirt. However, K’s bad luck keeps on coming so I have tried my best to cheer her up. I think that is one of the things us dogs do best, bringing happiness and love to our humans and helping them to see the beauty in life. So, using my furry dog powers I woofed to K that everyone goes through bad times as well as good. That is the cycle of life, Yin and Yang if you will. So, although things seem overwhelming right now, it will get better. There is a balance in Nature, so just Trust that things will work themselves out. "This whole darn world can fall apart, you'll be OK follow your heart." And always remember to fly high, because what’s real can’t die. And what is real is Love. I think I helped K, as she seems to be smiling a little bit more. She even watched the Wolf Moon rise with me the other night, even though I howled through most of it. I've been thinking of releasing my own album, er, CD. I am pawsitive I can win a Grammy. My howling has a great beat. I rock! It would behoove any DJ to play my howls in their mixes. Jammin' with Suka! I’m just sayin’…

Suka, my friend, this is another reason you just can't wander away...K needs you and your wisdom. Please share with her our postive energy and love that we are sending out. We are not strangers to adversity and trust us when we encourage you both to hold on tight to each other and open yourselves to receive the strength and support the Universe has to offer. It is ALWAYS there but sometimes you must be still to hear it. Tell K to breathe--deeply--and to believe and together you can will good things into being. We add our force to yours. Please let us know if there is more we can do to help sehismith@aol.com Know we really care.

Hi Suka, my friend! I was just sitting looking out of the window and I saw a cloud that reminded me of you. Hope you are having a good Friday (snow?). My people are not sports followers so we have no SuperBowl plans...more likely we'll have the post-yoga gang over for an ethnic feast with lots of veggie sides (join us?)

Hi Suka! Came across your blog. You look like like you might have a bit of Malamute in you! I see you were found wondering around in MN. I was also found wondering around, but in NE. My family found me on the side of a highway in a cornfield and brought me home. Isn't it wonderful to have such wonderful humans?

I sure hope your K starts having some better luck. Bad luck sure isn't anything any of us want. I'm sure you are helping K feel much better just by being there for her!

No chain chewing, my friend! Not even to come to visit me! Either ride with K or talk Khyra's mom into driving you as a transport to and from (sure, Khyra can come too)! We love that you only have movie watching tv (that is mostly what we use ours for...thank dog for netflix)!

Hi my friend, I am so happy to hear that you finally got snow! It is my hope that your weekend is filled with opportunities to play (safely while not wandering) in the fluffy white stuff and to enjoy the weather that is made just for the enjoyment of us Northern Breeds!

Hey my friend, it was a rough day in ABQ! I kind of lost my cool and now I am feeling very foolish. It is just that every little thing seemed so magnified and extra annoying today! I couldn't help myself. Hope your day was better! I wish you had been able to join us for saag paneer (K would have liked it) and tandoori chicken.

Our bipeds need us most when they're having those streaks of bad luck, don't they? They seem to forget that "this too shall pass." Paws crossed things improve soon for K.
