Easy Come, Easy Go 02.20.2011

From this:

~~ MOMENT OF BEAUTY ~~

Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini (1675-1741), The Clemency of Alexander The Great (356-323 BC) in Front of the Family of Darius III (d. 330 BC), circa unknown

Louise Jeane Francois Lagrenee a.k.a. l’Aîné, The Death of the Wife of Darius III, circa 1785

Back to me...

To this:

What happened?! One week I am luxuriating in blankets of fluffy white snow in balmy zero degree weather, then a week or so later it is a hot 70 degrees and not a snowflake to be found. I suppose Spring is anxious to make its arrival, but I woof, "not fair!" It is still Winter and I think Spring needs to learn some patience and let Winter finish itself out. Now if Spring wants to encroach on Summer's time, you won't hear any woofing from me. I'm just sayin'...

Wow! It was even warm enough for Porgy! Sorry, my friend, I understand your sense of loss...we still have snow on the mountains, but as you know I am happy with a little and then on to running in the grass!

What a great title for your post,i totally agree with it. Having this kind of mentality always brightens the day. Suka, one of the things that i love about you is that you're always adaptable, strong and always moving forward in and out season. Keep it up, my dear friend!

So happy to see Porgy is enjoying himself there.

Love ya & K too,

Hey there Suka, Silvius, Porgy and KrisAnne.
It's so wonderful to see snow pictures like that - no wonder you are pining for the snow. I must say that there is a twinge of 'coolness' in our air too - which means that our winter is just around the corner too. Each day brings its own beauty - enjoy each one :)
I just love all your rescue/stray stories - you are a family which has been 'brought' together and it gives me a lump in my throat.
Sending lotsaluv to you all and thanks for coming by our blog too.

Oh, sweet Suka, no snow??? We still have some, although it's starting to show some brown grass in spots. Love the pic of you with your face buried into the snow. It's still early, our friend, we can still do the snow dance! Ready? One...two...three...More snow! More snow!

Oh My Goodness - talk about a complete turn around. But then we received a complete turn around, too - the opposite. We now have tons of that white stuff that vanished from your neck of the woods. Maybe we can UPS some to ya! They have big trucks - how much do ya want?? (Awesome photo of the pretty bird - is that a parrot? Very pretty indeed.)

Sorry Suka :( Maybe next week you will get some surprise snow?

I sure hope you get more!

Gosh it's amazing how fast snow disappears! Must be depressing for you. I hope it comes back soon.

Looks like you sure do enjoy the snow. Personally, I can't wait for spring. Not too close yet here in NY.

Suka what a contrast between the snow pics and the no snow pics. In the last pic and beimg 70 degrees at least you had a puddle to soak and cool off your feet....
Not the same as snow though. Thanks for stopping by & visiting us. We enjoy your visits.
