Bobcat and Muddy Paws

Look what Silvius chased up a tree. A bobcat! We were so excited to finally meet a bobcat. He was pretty awesome looking and I was so hoping he would come down and play with us. But, alas, that was not to be. Bobcat seemed a bit frightened, and I don't know why because Silvius and I love cats. Silvius will take his à la carte, but I prefer mine with a side of bunny. Anyway, after enjoying his presence for a while we left, and have yet to see Bobcat again.

Back to me...

I don't think they look so bad.

The mud adds character to my paws. They look goth.

So Porgy, how did I do cleaning my paws?

Porgy says my paws look all clean to him! So, where is my treat?

“A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference.”
~~ Winnie the Pooh

Winnie is a very wise Pooh-Bear. He has a knack for making simple yet profound observations on life. So carry Winnie the Pooh's words of wisdom in your heart as you go about your day, and exhibit kindness in all you do. As my beautiful friend, Sugar, did. I won a give-away on Sugar's blog, a very pretty "Recycled Love" dog tag, and Sugar added a very delicious pack of Sugar-made dog treats, from Sugar's very own store. A yummy surprise! It was very thoughtful of Sugar to add the extra bonus and it made my tummy's day! Thanks, Sugar! In this spirit of kindness, I did not chase after a bunny the other day that ran out from under a tree during my afternoon walk. True, I did not even see the bunny, but my human, K, did, so that is kindness by default, or two degrees of kindness. I'm just sayin'...

WOW WEE -- what a beautiful bobcat. How lucky is that to actually see one. They say that we have bobcat, bear, and cougar in our neighborhood - but - nope...we have never seen any of them. We have deer, too - and unfortunately they leave us 'presents' in our yard all the time! We just love how you and Porgy and bestest of friends - so very very cute! Congratulations on winning prezzies. That is wonderful. Your new tag is awesome. Well, have a super fun day...mud and all.
Hugs,
Joan & Little Janie
P.S. We really enjoy your "Moment of Beauty" entries, too!!!

Kindness is like a ripple in an ocean, it goes outward forever. Sugar is very thoughtful and you are sweet for passing on the sentiment.

Wow! Silvius is quite the hunter. Bobcat is beautiful and you all will be blessed by his totem spirit for leaving him unharmed.

Goth feet are fun but I am sure K is glad Porgy helped supervise paw cleaning before returning into the house. Glad to see all in such fine form.

Thanks for stopping by All Things Dog Blog. I enjoyed seeing Porgy. Our parakeet, Peekaboo, was such a character that it reminded me of those days. Happy tails!

Imagine this, my friend, rabbit and apple and ginger all natural dog biscuits! Yep! Momma bought us some. Crunchy and delicious but Puff isn't a big fan and Quinn is too distraught that real bunnies were used in the snack (remember, he is the one who likes to TALK with the rabbits at the Nature Center instead of chasing them). But Nuka and I love them!

Wow that is one big cat! Even Teddy might be afraid of him.

You will take a bobcat with a side of bunny?! That is not a bad menu choice, Suka, but my mom would be totally grossed out to see that meal on my plate! Bwahh!
I love that Porgy gets to have his freedom on the deck with you! You must be super gentle and sweet to that cute birdy!

Ever raced a road runner, my friend? Thought how fun it would be to run together after one of those mean not-so-little guys...just for sport of course. A good candidate has been appearing in our neighborhood in the mornings.
